Administrative Dispositions Regarding Travel Agencies

This notification states that we have imposed administrative punishments on the travel agencies specified below pursuant to Article 19-1 of the Travel Agency Act
The punishments:
1 Travel agencies for which administrative punishments have been imposed

Registration No.: Travel agency No. 197, whose registration was approved by the Commissioner of the Japan Tourism Agency
2 Findings that provide cause for adverse disposition
(1)[1] A chartered bus tour starting from the City of Yamaguchi was conducted on March 29, 2015. For that tour, Yomiuri Travel Service Co. Ltd. rendered services at rates and charges lower than the minimum rates and charges stipulated by the national government, in violation of Article 9-2-1 of the Road Transportation Act.
[2] A chartered bus tour starting from the City of Kurobe was conducted on December 2 and 3, 2015. For that tour, Yomiuri Travel Service Co. Ltd. rendered services at rates and charges lower than the minimum rates and charges stipulated by the national government, in violation of Article 9-2-1 of the Road Transportation Act.
(2) A chartered bus tour starting from Nishishirakawa-gun was conducted on December 12, 2015. For that tour, Tabix Japan, Inc. rendered services at rates and charges lower than the minimum rates and charges stipulated by the national government, in violation of Article 9-2-1 of the Road Transportation Act.
3 Details of the adverse disposition
(1) Travel service operations were suspended for the Yamaguchi business office (7-4, Ogoorikoganemachi, City of Yamaguchi, Yamaguchi Prefecture) and at the Takaoka business office (4-5, Shimozeki, City of Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture). Operations necessary for implementing travel contracts that have already been entered into are not suspended.
Period of suspension: The 14 days from December 10 through 23, 2016
(2) Travel service operations were suspended for the Kooriyama business office (7-9, Midorimachi, City of Kooriyama, Fukushima Prefecture). Operations necessary for implementing travel contracts that have already been entered into are not suspended.
