In view of the disruption of international tourism due to COVID-19 and the massive impact of the pandemic on the tourism industry in many countries,
the Japan Tourism Agency surveyed various countries and international organizations on the impact of COVID-19 on tourism, the current situation, as well as the measures they have adopted in response to the situation.
At the same time, we have also collected information on public and private initiatives aimed at facilitating safe and secure tourism and travel reforms with the goal of reviving international tourism moving forward, and have prepared a report summarizing this information.
